RC series

The RC series linear pneumatic actuators are specifically designed for controlling valve operation. The product range includes double-acting and spring-return units with various sizes, offering output thrusts up to 30,000N.

All CDG actuators utilize a (CDG patented technology) permanent lubrication system, ensuring lifelong maintenance-free and smooth operation.

Standard RC series actuators achieve fast response speeds without the need for an accelerator; for even faster requirements, CDG offers specialized designs.

The RC series actuators integrate various positioners and accessories to meet harsh operating conditions. Manual operating mechanisms and various mounting connections can also be provided according to user's special requirements.

RC series double-acting and spring-return actuators are suitable for medium and small thrusts to meet most application requirements. The body is made of corrosion-resistant cast aluminum, suitable for harsh environments such as deserts, power plants, petrochemical plants, and steel industries. The lightweight, compact, and functional design ensures easy installation.

Generally required RC actuators are integrated with a series of pneumatic and electropneumatic positioners and accessories. The actuator output shaft and flange connecting to the valve can be processed according to user's special requirements and various application conditions.
RC series double-acting or spring-return actuators are designed for large thrusts. Constructed from carbon steel cylinders and end caps, they are suitable for heavy-duty applications. A size range from 260mm to 850mm in diameter caters to various special thrust requirements.

The cylinder is designed according to stroke requirements; therefore, there is no inactive volume in the actuator when it is fully open and closed, minimizing deviation.

The RC series patented embedded lubrication system makes this product maintenance-free for life.

In many applications, safety is often a critical consideration. In the event of a malfunction, even with air supply failure, the RC series actuator can immediately reach a safe position. A lock valve can keep the actuator in its original or specified position (fully open or fully closed). This can be achieved by a lock valve system and a mechanical spring.

Spring return actuators are available in a full range of specifications to meet various special requirements. Aluminum alloy body actuators can incorporate one or more springs to meet the required thrust and stroke.

Each valve has different requirements; CDG can provide various combinations of corrosion-resistant springs to meet the various thrusts required for specific applications.

If required, RC series actuators can be equipped with mechanical springs to improve safety in case of air supply failure.

All spring-loaded RC actuators are dismountable without maintenance; to maximize safety, the spring is housed in a robust casing to prevent exceeding stroke limits.

A wide range of possibilities and multiple spring options allow RC actuators to meet almost every industrial valve's special requirements. Like the cast aluminum housing series, the carbon steel housing double-acting series can be equipped with additional return springs. All springs are housed in reliable casings to prevent injury to maintenance personnel when disassembling the actuator.
