CDG stop valve, reliable sealing, light operating torque

A stop valve, also called a stop gate, is the most widely used type of valve. Due to its inherent properties, it is suitable not only for medium and low pressure, but also for high pressure. CDG stop valves can be reliably and stably used in high and low pressure applications such as oil, oil and gas, steam, air, and gas. Medium and low pressure valves use a tapered valve disc sealing structure with a large diameter, while high-pressure valves use an internal bypass valve disc sealing structure. The medium flows from high to low, using medium pressure sealing, with reliable sealing and light operating torque. A wide range of internal parts materials and connection methods between the valve body and valve cover can be configured according to the operating conditions.
Advantages of CDG Stop Valves:
1. Simple structure, easy manufacturing and maintenance.
2. Small working stroke, short opening and closing time.
3. Good sealing, small friction between sealing surfaces, long life.
4. The structural forms of the stop valve body include straight-through type, straight-flow type, and right-angle type. The straight-through type is the most common structure, but it has the largest fluid resistance. The straight-flow type has smaller fluid resistance and is often used for fluids containing solid particles or with high viscosity. The right-angle type valve body is mostly forged and is suitable for stop valves with smaller diameters and higher pressures.
Disadvantages of CDG Stop Valves:
1. Large fluid resistance, large force required for opening and closing.
2. Not suitable for media containing particles, high viscosity, or prone to coking.
3. Poor regulation performance.
4. Types of stop valves are classified by the position of the stem thread: external thread type and internal thread type. According to the flow direction of the medium, there are straight-through type, straight-flow type, and angle type. According to the sealing form, there are packed stop valves and bellows sealed stop valves.
5. The bellows sealed stop valve uses a bellows seal design, completely eliminating the disadvantages of the rapid aging and leakage of the stem packing seal in ordinary valves. This not only improves energy efficiency, increases the safety of production equipment, and reduces maintenance costs and frequent maintenance, but also provides a clean and safe working environment.
